With over 20,000 items and over 10,000 photographs, the Mathers Museum of World Cultures contains artifacts representing the lives and histories of cultures from every continent. Visitors can view traditional musical instruments from Africa, images of local Native American tribes, hunting equipment of the Yupik Eskimo and more. The museum lies in the south end of University of Indiana, a few blocks northeast of Third Street Park.
